Palermo

“We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment.” Travel inspires me more than anything else, I love the idea of experiencing different concepts of living, languages, culture, food, scenery … I’m recently back from a trip and while I am working on travel posts I thought it would be a good idea to add another post from Italy when we visited Palermo.
Palermo has it all; High-Quality Opera Houses, Outdoor Markets, Churches, Spectacular Beaches, Squares, Great Nightlife, Amazing Restaurants … It’s a vibrant and fast-paced city rich in history, culture and architecture. A lot of tourists are attracted to the city for its good Mediterranean weather, it was a bit cloudy when we were there in June but the temperature was around 22Β°C πŸ™‚ perfect for a city stroll! We visited the Quattro Canti, the San Domenico Church, The Pretoria Square, Santa Caterina Church, The Cappella Palatina, The Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, Piazza Bellini and the Teatro Massimo.
I was so happy we got to see Norma by composer Vincenzo Bellini at Teatro Massimo, this opera is regarded as a leading example of the bel canto genre.
We did a lot in only 4 days in Palermo, it was such a short visit but intense and unforgettable. One more time I felt like I did not want to leave that place. But then I thought: Italy you are always a good idea, see you again soon!

Look Description: COS Dress, Dune London Sandals and MK watch.
