During our stay in Sicily, my sister and I hopped on a train to Cefalù town which is about an hour by train from Palermo city. The journey is full of amazing views, the first two pictures on this post were taken while we were still on the way.
Cefalù is a very a popular tourist resort on Sicily’s northern coast and a picturesque historic town on a rocky headland. It has great tourist attractions, I loved the town’s Duomo, a charming and imposing two-towered Norman cathedral.
There are amazing places for hiking if you feel like exploring the magnificent landscape it has to offer. If you enjoy day tours local tourism agencies organize lots of excursions. There are great options of restaurants, coffee places and busy markets. It is a great place to stay for at least a week, I just wish we had more time on our hands by the time were there. But we were still able to enjoy the town and the beach too.
More photos from Cefalù beach will be posted soon! Stay tuned!
