JCI Dublin Active Citizenship Week Charity Fashion Show

On the 5th of September JCI hosted a Charity Fashion Show, it was an amazing event and I was absolutely delighted to have been able to be part of it. I was invited by the event organizer Silvija Delekovcan to talk through some of the Autumn/Winter 2013 trends and give guests an insight into the looks that were to be showcased on the night.
The event took place at ely bar & brasserie in Dublin, we had a lovely wine reception with acoustic music by Gustavo Lazarin, you can check more about Gustavo’s music by visiting his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/#!/GustavoLazarin. The event included dinner and we also had a comedy show with Connor McDonough-Flynn plus the Fashion Show and to wrap it up more music with DJ 🙂

Here are some of the looks showcased and it is also important to mention that all of the clothes featured in the fashion show was “pre-loved” clothing donated by the NCBI Charity Shop in Maynooth, Co. Kildare. The aim of this event was to demonstrate that recycling is fashionable by encouraging people to reuse clothing whenever possible and to donate their unwanted clothes and accessories instead of binning them.
Covering the event we had photographer Ivana Patracic for more info about her work feel free to log onto her page. Photography http://ivana-photography.com/weddings/
