Road Trip to Wexford Town

Breaking up the routine with a last-minute destination choice, we picked Wexford Town. It is located in County Wexford in the South-East Region of Ireland. Also known as Ireland’s “Sunny Southeast”, due to the number of hours of sunshine received daily, higher than in the rest of the country.
The town is very welcoming and its landscape is fascinating. The highlights includes the beach in Curracloe where the opening scenes of the movie “Saving Private Ryan” were filmed, the Wexford Opera Festival, Hook Lighthouse, Wexford Arts Centre, the ruins of Selskar Abbey and the Irish National Heritage to name a few.
There’s no better way to escape from stress than a weekend away in beautiful County Wexford!
