Among Spring Flowers

I had the pleasure of visiting the most beautiful spring garden ever, Keukenhof. It was always one of my sis’ wishes and thanks to her I thought:’Yeah! Why not go see it!’ Through their website you can have a good notion of what to expect. In my opinion, it is indeed the closest to what people believe to be a real paradise and the vibe is incredible.
Keukenhof-Lisse-Holland is located 20km in the South of Amsterdam and according to the official website (http://www.keukenhof.nl/en/), more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted there each year.
In order to visit it, you need to get yourself organized as it opens mid-March to mid-May.
We got there by bus from Schiphol Airport, but there are more buses departing from Haarlem and Leiden train stations.
One thing to keep in mind is that you won’t find long fields of tulips at keukenhof. The flowers are grown in small arenas. But you still have the option of renting a bike if you want to get closer to the fields.
I registered such a pleasant moment. I did not only looked at those beautiful flowers, I truly saw them. A blessing landscape to great snaps!
